Latest on Lockdown: are we up yet? Not yet, son.
Well, we’re up a gum tree with Covid-19. Readings from Weathereye: Selected Poems cut off in their prime. I managed to get one in at the excellent Imperial Hotel, Merthyr in February; just as the door was shutting, a reading at Oriel Môn Llangefni was virtually cancelled, though it took place to an intimate audience – and thank you to Oriel Môn for their generous hospitality. There will be another reading in Ynys Môn when the runes show favourably, with proper publicity; and cancelled readings at Ric Hool’s Poetry Upstairs in Abergavenny, at The Cellar, Cardigan, and in London, will take place as the virus permits – and more. In the meantime, we’re virtually online. Stay safe in good air, and may we all come through this, bless us.
